Liteville 301 Mk11 – Wheel/Hub choice

I have a Liteville 301 Mk11 which I’ve been riding 650b on fw&rw. I was planning on trying out a 26″ on the rear wheel. The bike uses the syntace X-12 bolt through, so can anyone advise on what hub ‘size’ I should be buying so as to ensure it fits without issues?

Most wheels now offer 142×12 – and in fact most are now that as the default. There is no special hub size for that type of axle.

Edit: I realise that I didn’t make it clear that X12 = 142×12

26″ allows you to get a sensible sized tyre on there.

27.5/26 works really well on my 601. Loads of clearance on the back.
As said, any 142 x 12mm hub will work (or any hub you can buy adapters for).

any 142×12 hub will be fine. I have a 26″ hope tech enduro rear wheel on mine, with a Maxxis Minion DHRII on the back. Plenty of space

i use hope and i thought they had a specific kit for the x12 over the standard 142?

it rides a lot better with the 26 imo. i run 2.35 hans damfs or a rear trail king and its ace.

Hope 142×12 fits X12. The only variations are the type of fastening which doesn’t affect the axle.

I had a Mk10 with Flow rims on Hope hubs. When it was replaced by a Mk11 it had 35mm wide Syntace rims on it. The difference on descents is quite marked with the wider rims: You just ride over everything instead of being pogoed about on rocks; much more grip with the lower pressures too.
I run a 26″ rear too.
