the answer is the OP ( or his pal) is liable for any expenses reasonably occured and that if it went to court Ling would have to show the expenses were reasonable.

Im proud I look after my Mother when the time has come she needs it even if it means finances are now stretched.

During the respite car time I have I volunteer at a local centre for people with learning disabilities, personality disorders and other profound life challenges.

I do it because I want to. I have no other motive.

So please don’t preach about donating £100. Start giving back the money you have extorted illegally first. Then apologise to the poster that pulled you up on what dangerous driving can really do to bikers on the road. I’m clearly not as good at searching as you, but very, very vaguely remember there was something years ago where decathlon listed some jerseys super cheap or even free but you needed to buy something else at the same time. Looking at my kit box, I’m guessing 5 years ago perhaps? Anyway, quite a lot of people tried to take advantage of it and it didn’t work. Let’s call it a very historic lapse in judgement eh?

Interesting point for you – myself and Mick have been exchanging a few PMs today, while we may never see eye to eye on certain things, they were civilised, pretty polite and even included discussion of a phone chat next week and potentially a beer to follow at a later, mutually convenient time when we can both chat in a relaxed manner about life experiences that have shaped our respective viewpoints.

That kind of makes your self appointed “white knight” role a bit redundant now, and I’d argue that in fact, you are contributing nothing other than driving animosity on the thread.

Can I recommend this book perhaps?

In what way were we hypocrites i dont think I ever said I would donate i merely used her terminology as a criteria by which i would donate also worth noting why she was “asked” to donate and why she did.

She did it to teach us a lesson and get this sort of reaction and I think its fair to say you, and others, delivered some pressure, not least with the words you use to describe them/me, and continue to do so. I think it was fair, up to a point , but i think you did do it.
