I’ve decided I need a multi-tool with pliers and a knife. Does anyone have any recommendations? Is the Skeletool any good?

I’ve hard a Leatherman Charge Ti for about 8 years and it’s awesome.
    .
It gets used at work pretty much all day and its still like new.
The blades are really good quality and hold an edge well.
Buy which ever one has what you need and you won’t regret it.
    .
Just don’t be tempted buy a cheapo copy as they don’t last 5 minutes.

I have one, I love it. Four years old and it looks brand new.

Bought a Charge tti off fleabay from America a couple of years back. Great bit of kit, but I rarely use it

I’ve got a Gerber suspension, it was free with an MBR subscription a year ago or so. I use it a lot, it is often closer to hand than a real pair of pliers, and while it is difficult to exert a lot of leverage on it due to the shorter handles, it hasn’t failed me yet. Not flexy either which I thought it may be, my only problem has been one of the screwdriver ends broke slightly, still works though & fits the small screws on gear mechs better.

Skeletool, great kit but put me in hospital when i bounced the point off the bone in my thumb, so pretty sharp.

Got a Juice c2, small enough that i never notice it in my pocket, big enough to be of real use (am a landscape gardener), use it on pretty much a daily basis and has stood up to all the abuse I can throw at it!

I bought a Skeletool CX earlier in the year, I’ve cut myself with it more than any other knife I’ve owned. It’s frikin sharp and seems to hold it’s edge pretty well too.
