£25 – first prize for ages, but over the last year I’m on about 3.5% return, which is well ahead of the 1.4% return rate.

FWIW, when we had a large holding it came in drips and drabs. I think we went three months without a sniff, then had a bunch the next month.

Need to average it out over the year and see what your %age return is – we hit about 1.4, so we must have above average luck between us…

usually have about the same failedengineer how ever the last year or so i have steadily built up the coffers to fund the extension going up in april.

noticed a defined increase in prizes as the number of bonds went up – but that’s probability for you.

rarely won anything when i only had 5 or 6k . although i also won the biggest prize i ever got during those times also. 500 quid.

I think I worked it out – should get one prize per year for each £2650 in bonds.

5k 13 months ago with £175 won. Although my s&S isa would have netted 12% but thats already full for the year.

My winnings have been £25, £25, £50, £75, £50 so I’m doing slightly better than the 1.4% “average”.

I’d get less return in my current account and it’s quickly available if a rainy day arrives

Well, despite my suspicion a month ago that my luck was all used up and I should cash them in, I only go and drop £100 this month too. And that wasnt 4 x £25, it is an actual £100, apparently. So I’ll hang on in there after all.

Thanks for reminder 2×25 here. A neighbour won 100k ages ago when 100k would probably have bought a house.

Well done on 1×100 above I ve never had more than 25s. Keep meaning to track the annual return so will do and post.
