Not sure what makes for a higher score though. Get wildly different scores even if I still hit it every time.

You’ve got to hit it when its as far away from you as possible I think, hitting it just as it comes back on screen. This seems to give the highest scores, but don’t ‘go off’ too early or you’ll miss it completely and waste a swipe. Good for 5 minutes of Friday fun!

Nope. Piñata is just a name for a container made from papier-mâché etc. It can be any shape.
