Off to see The Bookshop band in a minute. Touring at the moment, worth seeing if this sort of thing is your bag (baby).

Lovely people to spend an evening with.

Haslemere at The Georgian tonight. Outgrew the bookshop last year!

I met them in Wigtown last year (My colleague and I sponsor a few things at the Book Festival, he’s a local man) in their little studio/home. Prolific song writers!

Our musical worlds collide again, Stoner!  Your dad and Krusher last year.  Their good friends of ours, staying at ours after the gig this evening.  I’ll say hi from you, send me a PM/email?

    😀

Oh, they wont remember me! They had an “open house” during the book festival, I will have been one of too many faces that week. Have a great evening!

Therapy?’s three-night run at the Water Rats in King’s Cross will take some beating, as did my shins as that’s pretty much the stage level!

I saw Therapy? play The Mill in the mid-90s.  I’ve never heard three people make so much noise in all my days, epic gig.

The smaller the better for me.

As I’ve got older and grumpier I’ve started to prefer small gigs.  I saw Gun at one of the Manchester Academy rooms at the back end of last year (Academy 3?) and Ugly Kid Joe at Academy 2 a week or so ago.  Both stellar gigs and both about twenty quid, bugger paying eighty sovs for a Queen tribute act featuring an X-Factor contestant.

I’ve only ever been to one gig there which was fantastic..

Oooh, you bugger.  Well jel, as the cool kids probably don’t say.
