Getting ripped off on STW – a shame and what would you do?

Someone posts wtd ad, I’m a scammer, I reply to the wanted ad via email claiming to be someone who posts lots and looks like they have a decent reputation – let’s say ‘njee20’, buyer trusts me as a result and pays via PPG. Job done…

Sorry, I got the how the scam works (and it’s devilishly simple in its fiendishness), although that njee20 character sounds as dodgy as anything, I meant how do you get someone to prove they are who they say they are?
