It always bothers me when an episode starts without the full gamut of warnings, but that was a good one.

Well are we talking about it yet?
Hell of an episode, definatley don’t add this to facebook unless you are watching on the day

I hope little Ramsey follows up with his plan re: Day trip north
Possibly found our 3rd dragon rider this week too
    and crossover of the week

so here is my thoughts :
tyrion is bastard son of mad king+ lannister wife ( tywin himself spoke about mad kings hobby of f*** wifes of lords IIRC) so Tyrion is half targaryen and possibly even immune to fire as dragons let him alive.
jon snow is son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar. the fact that we see flashbacks of Stark family only makes it even clearer ( young Ned etc.)
Rickon was meant to go to house of Umber ( right?) but Umbers now on side of Boltons hence the gift reference in preview for next episode – Rickon being the gift to Bolton bastard possibly.
will we see a fight of boltons hounds vs direwolfs one day?

Jon Snow most likely is Azor Ahai reincarnated. Will be very interesting if his acting remains the same as being Jon Snow as we know him , or acting as completely new character.

Azor Ahai is a Westeros hero who is supposedly destined to be reborn and rescue the Seven Kingdoms from their days of darkness.

Ramsey Bolten is no Joffrey (the lack of theatrics) but I’m starting to like his management approach, nice and direct.

melisandre is 400 years old and it was her sole purpose to find new Azor Ahai. ironically she found him when she gave up.

For one episode, it certainly moved on a lot of plot lines!! Now where are the White Walkers!!!!

It was a bit easy though wasn’t it
    “can you do it?”
    “dunno”
    clean him up a bit
    mutter a few words
    Done

    I expected sacrifice(s), pain, etc

Isn’t that party of the point? She didn’t think she could do it because all her prophecy shit isn’t coming true, so she has substantial self doubt. So she mutters the incantations without any conviction, goes off in a huff, and raises the dead anyway.

When she finds out how powerful she is – then the fun’ll start.

I also like something picked up on Mel Gied- I give up, it’s a lot in scrabble -‘s show afterwards. The vow of the Night’s Watch is to stay until your death. i guess he’s now free to go seeing as he technically died, and stake a claim to what’s rightfully his, etc. And also maybe do some jiggy as well.

Awesome episode – unexpected deaths, evil priests, the Lannisters reforming, violence from the mountain, return of Hodor

And more one liners from the imp – I drink and I know things.

I reckon the girl knocking Arya about is actually Jaqen H’ghar starting to train her up again

Wasn’t far off it there I reckon 😉

Brilliant episode last night, Ramsey really is turning into the nastiest of bad guys, hopefully he’ll meet a suitably horrible end, but not for a while yet. I kind of hope Reek gets his revenge but this being Game of Thrones don’t hold out much hope 😈

Sky Atlantic had been showing the new episodes at 0200 on sun night, the same time as in the US – good to record, then watch on the Monday at the same time as the main programme, without the adverts.

It’s available on demand hours before the UK broadcast time, just stream it. Also doesn’t have adverts.

    Possibly overthinking.

Funny how the dog was sleeping and then stirred just before Jon Snow woke up. Same when Bran fell out of the tower, his dog slept nearby.

Can’t help wondering if this warging business has more than has been hinted at so far.

Good series so far, new stuff is taking away the need to worry about the lack of the next book too.

I’d say more likely the the dogs just felt the jolt in their masters consciousness, but this is GoT, so who knows!!!

One thing I’ve not seen mentioned yet is the High Sparrow and his crew. I thought Jaime was going to end up in the clink too after his confessions but they just withdrew back into the shadows. I reckon they’ll be dealt with by the mountain within the next few episodes.

And why was Margaery thrown in jail in the previous season , we couldn’t remember that one 😕

brans wolf was semi wild, running in the woods near to where they were when they were travelling north.

I think Margaery is also accused of knowing about her brother’s gay relationship and covering up/helping.

Have you not watched last nights episode et? There was a stand off at the funeral of the daughter that Jamie failed to rescue. Looks like the Lanisters are going to have to do something about them.

IIRC, Margery is still in kink because she won’t condemn her gay brother.

Yep. She’s basically banged up for perjury.

That’s exactly the scene I meant, Jaime seemed to be talking himself into trouble by admitting the people he’d killed, starting with his King.

The problem for the Lannisters is violence will play into the hands of the High Sparrow and with the loss of Verys, Tyrion and Little Finger (He’s still on side but seems absent from day to day running of Kings Landing) they’ve lost all the ‘smarts’ from the small council.
