Need some new flat pedal shoes, only had Van’s up until now, but tempted to see what the sticky soles are all about

    Which do people prefer?

AM40s if you can get them still, had two pairs, love em.

Ive allways used Vans until about 2 years ago when I got some 5/10s.Vans sole is great when its dry and upper leather more flexible but found they wore out quickly.5s are bulletproof once you get used to them and they seem to stick to pedal pins in all conditions but I just do downhill so depends what your lookn 4

    Thanks all
gordi, what i like with a simple pair of vans is the slight flex in the sole that allows you to grip around the pedal, maybe best described as feedback??. The classic 510’s [is it the Impact?] look very stiff in the sole – I am wondering if they have enough pedal feedback?
