    Looking at some 5 10s.
What’s the difference between the standard impact low and the Sam Hill Monsters? They look pretty similar and are the same price??

The colour and lace holes. Make sure you keep the receipt from experience.

Sam Hills are a bugger to keep looking clean.

My Sam Hills fell apart after 9 months, which was unlike my previous experiences with 5 tens. My impact highs are still going strong after 2 years.

My Sam Hills have been really good. 3 years in and still going strong.

Some say they’re stiffer, they feel the same to me and had the same crap cardboard construction etc.

My 1st pair of sam hills lasted 2 years until regular trail building split the soles

My 2nd pair of sam hills lasted 2 years until, again, trail building split the soles

Now got some carvers in blue/black, no trail building so will last longer..

If you see a pair of the old model Sam Hills get them too.
Mine have lasted years because there’s no cardboard in sight. They’re really comfy and have a rubber insole so if they get wet on a ride you just take them out and they dry really quickly.
Not sure why they didn’t carry this on with the new design?
