So back in April the Tories predict a landslide and overreach themselves by campaigning in the north east, leaving themselves exposed elsewhere? Accounts for the Tory swing in the ne not repeated elsewhere.

Interesting that the live feed cut just as the Labour guy was acknowledging the tactical voting. This might throw up some interesting results.

This is less about corbyn – and his party – performing strongly and i agree he has.
When may called the election i posted that it was pure political opportunism and i stand by that.
She ran an unbelievably poor campaign and gave away a position of (relative) strength which reflects poor political judgement. Speculate she would also have exercised poor political judgement in brexit negotiations.

She is my MP and her team are the only ones I’ve seen out and about around the doors last few weeks.

Looking at the vote split in Scotland it looks at first glance that SNP voters are switching to the Tories, as they are the two biggest losers and gainers with Labour increasing their share a little. In reality it is probably SNP voters switching back to Labour at the same time as hardened unionist Labour voters switching to the Tories.

Anna Soubry tipped to lose; she will miss the subsidised refreshments….ahem.

I am not mconcerned indeed farily happy to see labour make a resurgance in Scotland. Just so long as they don’t split the anti tory vote and let tories in. the SNP were never going to repeat getting 95% of the seats. Even the worst prediction shows them winning a majority of scots seats and thats after 10 years in power when few governments would expect to hold every seat.

the others will try to spin it as a disaster for the SNP but they will still be the most popular party with the highest approval ratings and most seats in scotland by a long way. Its not long ago they only had a handful of westminster seats

The biggest change was when journalists started picking up Tories making stuff up. There needs to be a point where when engaging in “slagging off the other guy”* gets stopped with a quick reminder that you are here to tell us why we should vote for you

and Dimbleby shocked about the turnouts going up – this could be an interesting night and puts some of the predictions more out.
