I only ever use my edge to record where I’ve been, rather then preplanned routes etc… I’d like to mark on each ride when I’ve stopped to take picture etc.. is there a way of using a pointer etc… to mark photo stop on the route to see later when you upload to your computer?

Will the Edge let you set a waypoint?

I’ve been looking at geotagging software. From what I can see you can get software that will look at the GPX track and look at the time information in the EXIF data for the photo and from that work out where the picture was taken (though you may need to adjust the camera time to get it in sync with the GPS). Looks like the quickest way to do it if you have more than a couple of photos.

There are some programs that will automatically geotag your photos using the time on the gps and comparing it with the time on your camera.

I use GPStagr[/url] in conjunction with flickr but there are other bits of software, sites that will do the same

I use Sporttracks for my Edge, they also have a plugin which will tie up your pictures with your ride.
