    …in price??
    Nearly double in fact, C24 @ £620 and C35 @ £1080.

Looking at buying a new wheel set in spring and would probably go for either of these two.
Just finding it hard to decide .
In the end I guess the extra £££ for the C35 will make me choose the C24s.

Does anyone here have either of the above wheels and what do you think of them?
Any other suggestions instead of Dura Ace.

Currently have a set of DT 240s laced with DT Revolution spokes to Mavic CXP33s.

You’ve got to assume that the construction is different. I’d have thought that a lot more work is done on the C35 to keep the weight reasonable than is necessary on the C24.

Looking at the C24, they look like wheels that are aimed at the market that wants carbon wheels rather than being performance orientated given that you could get similar weight wheels (in aluminium) for a lot less (and they’re not really deep enough to be aero) whereas the C35 are much more performance orientated in that they should actually have some aero benefit.

What are you actually looking for in a wheel?

I think the construction of the C24 and C35 are actually based on the same process with the newer Dura Ace (was different in the past I think.) Maybe they just sell more of the C35 so the C24 are more heavily discounted. They both seem to weigh about the same.

Unless you want to keep your current wheels it may be worth getting those DT hubs laced on to some nicer rims with some aero spokes.

The C24 is a carbon laminate, an alloy rim with a carbon skin. The C35 is a full carbon rim with the construction issues and scene tax attached to bump up the price?

I’m just guessing here as I’ve not looked at the spec sheets.

The C24 cl is a great wheel set in either case. It’d not see a benefit for the c35 other than for competition.

Quite a good summary of the 9000 wheelsets here. C35 does have the fancier lacing on there rear.

Nope, if he is comparing clincher with clincher then both 24 and 35 are carbon laminate.

£460 will save you about 20 Watts. And make the bike look faster 😉 . At the price, the C24 are very good and eh C35’s only competitive. A couple of clubmates have C24’s and love them, one rides them tubeless and has had a few issues that may or may not be wheel related. I was thinking of a set to replace the aged Ksyrium Elites I have.

For the difference, upgrade your groupset.

In that case C24 every time! I would guess the C35 would be heavier, unless you’re significantly shifting there’s very little aero benefit, so go for lighter weight, also to consider, the c35 will need long valve tubes, which although aren’t rare, not everyone will have a spare.

Or buy what you fancy and to hell with practicalities!

I want a lighter wheel set than my current ones , and I’m also tubeless curious.
Got Dura Ace grupo on the bike ,so it will be nice to complete it with DA wheels.
I guess the C24s is the best option, considering the price difference and they are lighter.
