These **** will be in and out of the revolving door in no time. The Orange Shitgibbon on the other hand makes Al Capone and the Teflon Don look like corner shop thieves.

That joke about him shooting someone on 42nd St / 5th Avenue / Dumfck Blvd and getting away with it, wasn’t a joke.

A little sad to watch Biden and Trump in the oval office as part of the handover process. A tradition, of course, that Trump didn’t carry out when Biden won, as Trump, unlike Biden, doesn’t actually give a shit about his country.

According to R4 expert last night the Orange baby didn’t sign the usual government handover agreement which is traditionally put in place. This is the plan for all those involved in government to hand over projects, data, contacts, meeting schedules etc. It’s the nuts and bolts of running government. Really rather worrying.

Obama holds the record for deportations per term. Biden is on track to match DT1’s number.

The worrying thing is talk of going for the “Sanctuary Cities”. That’s civil war stuff.

And just to think Moscow Musk paid $44billion for this win and the revolving door will be spinning off its bearings after January…

Interesting interview on R4 PM yesterday re Musk firing people and what happens when financial stuff like healthcare, pensions and other state stuff stops working….

Short term I see big surge in stock market, a good time to be a speculator, Trump will say he’s a genius

Inflation will continue to fall, Trump will say he’s a genius

Israel will wind down war, Palestine is now rubble anyway the Israel hawks he’s appointed as ambassador & defense will allow anexation of West Bank, Trump will say he’s a genius,

Ukraine will be forced to concede territory to Russia and a buffer zone, putin will use time to rebuild like he did last time.  Trump will say he’s a genius.

Cuts to government will initially look great, Trump will say he’s a genius (and he’ll give Musk credit)

Tarrifs will not be as dramatic but still kick off retaliation and cause inflation, Trump will still say he’s a genius and blame the Fed

Pogroms to remove undocumented migrants will be very ugly but Trump will say he’s a genius and blame immigrants

RFK Jr will propose lots of batshit medical nonsense, Trump will say he’s a genius

    Long term

Stocks will crash at some point, Trump will blame the Fed

A backlash to Israeli action in the middle East will result in a terror attack/flare ups with Iran Trump will blame his staff/ muslims

Ukraine will simmer along as it did last time, at some point Putin will die and those peepee tapes will come out, Trump will cry fake news

Cuts to services in a country without a decent safety net will be very unpopular, Trump will blame Musk

Trump will try and annoint one of his offspring as the heir apparent.

    Long term

Trump will only be US president for the next 4 years so the long-term consequences of his presidency won’t concern him.

Trump is temperamentally incapable of giving any credit to anyone about anything that he thinks he should be praised for. The combination of Trump Musk and Rasmaswamy in a room together will cause all three’s egos to self-immolate. I predicate that Ramaswamy will go first, he’ll last months; outmaneuvered by Musk, followed by Musk who’ll last maybe a little longer but I think will be gone in 6 months tops, and both will become predominately anti-Trump.

And if the claims made in the link below, concerning the logistic and economic costs, are more or less correct (I appreciate that the source is not unbiased) a very public row with the sanctuary cities, which the Trump administration conveniently fails to win, will give them the perfect excuse to ditch a totally impractical and very costly policy whilst blaming others for the failures.

Gaetz is a loyalty test for the Republican vote.

Gaetz is a timely reminder for everyone, Republicans included, that a DJT presidency is about one thing only; DJT and whats best for him. At least he’s not pretending to want to govern properly.

Oh dear, it seems that “the special relationship” might be under strain:

Elon Musk Has Gone To War With The UK Government Again

Musk just pumping out lies on Twitter/X/whatever is making the days of Murdoch publishing dodgy stories in the Sun seem rather innocent and quaint by comparison, isn’t it?

I do wonder just how hard-right this is going to take them and how long it will take for there to be some kind of internal revolution in the Republican Party?

Based on past president ….. moderate republicans seem to only grow a spine after they’ve left government.

In the same way the Tory party in this country is now just the UKIP/Brexit/Reform party, the Republican Party is now the MAGA party. You either tow the populist nationalist Trump line or you’re out!

There are no ‘moderates’ left. The lunatics have taken over the asylum

I suppose its a pity that Charles Manson passed away as Trump could have commissioned him as the Child and Family secretary.

What’s the deal with this fire? It’s like a sodding raptor engine.

I’d guess it’s either gas – you always want a nice fire for the photos, or possibly the whole room is positive pressure for chemical / biological weapon attack reasons, so the fire effectively has a leaf blower shooting at it.

    Required reading for Trumpists

Fun fact; the Smoots-Hawley Tariff Act is the very dull subject the history teacher is trying to teach the kids in that scene in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

    “the special relationship”

There was never any special relationship, the UK only finished of paying for US support in WWII in 2006!

Which makes the Ukraine situation quite strange, the US ain’t doing it for free, Ukraine will be racking up big debts with ‘uncle Sam’, and the EU, I imagine.

it’s a win-win for the USA, props up their arms industry, whilst weakening russia….*

*if we assume that the new trump government isn’t on the russian payroll already..

    Side note*

Remember Alex Jones one of Trump’s biggest biggly buddies well after he got bankruptcy orders on him and his channels.

The web site *the onion* have brought his office and studios in the online bankruptcy auction.   https://search.app?link=https%3A%2F%2Ftheonion.com%2F&utm_campaign=aga&utm_source=agsadl2%2Csh%2Fx%2Fgs%2Fm2%2F4

Trump has said he’ll be a dictator from day one and the nominations he’s announced so far are laying the ground for exactly that, filling top roles with people who will follow his orders without question no matter how insane they are. He’s basically nominated himself as Sec of Defence and Attorney General, Gaetz and Hegseth are just the fall guys for when something doesn’t go as he planned and needs to shift the blame but Trump himself will be calling the shots

Has the onion not just wasted its money? Surely Alex Jones can just buy new equipment and carry on. His fans will all follow him leaving the onion with a worthless website. If anything they’re doing him a favour by generating publicity right after Trump wins.

There was never any special relationship

Nonsense, our Prime Minister insists that there is a “Special Relationship”.

And the great news is that according to Sir Keir Donald Trump is a steadfast supporter of the Special Relationship.

Which is something that I didn’t know.

Starmer says Trump ‘steadfast supporter’ of special relationship

UK only finished of paying for US support in WWII in 2006!

they were interest free loans, so made no sense paying them off earlier when there is interest bearing debt.

Donald trump wants to make america healthy again, and has appointed kennedy as his new health secretary. He also wants to stop the misinformation from big pharma..

This from a man who survives on mcdonalds, is morbidly obese, and promoted the idea of injecting bleach into your eyeballs to counter covid..

    What a twunt..
