Dog shit should be cleared up by the owner, no excuse. Different [laces different rules. Local woods no need, Forestry reccognise this however not on the path. Fair enough.Local park, please kids play there.

BT behaving like that looks like an attack. Dogs practice this and play to hone their attacking skills. Sort that out FFS. Oh he is only playing. Dogs unfortunately greet each other by sniffing arses not pretending to bite each others faces. That is a fighting practice behaviour. Learn about your animal and dogs before posting shite.

    Don’t stray from the path!

FFS is it “weirwolf rules” for going for a ride or stroll in the woods?

On my ride home tonight I rode up behind a couple with two labs..they were just running about as they do, but there was a women coming down the other way who quickly put her dog on a lead (also a lab) and tried to signal to the other walkers that the dog wasn’t overly friendly…inevitably the other two went bounding up to it and got snapped at by it I felt like saying to the first two what a pair of tossers they were…as they refused to call there dogs in and put them on the leads felt really bad for the women who was obviously struggling a bit as the other two were running around her and the dog that was spinning around on the lead trying to grab them..the other two just walked on and didn’t even speak to the women..never mind getting them out of my way w@@@ers should have given them the boot on the way past

Pingu, you sound as if your after a fight, I’m sure you will find one with your attitude. But I do indeed take on board you very valid points, the BT in question is from working stock & not like our other bitch that is from show stock (inbred), how do you suggest I “sort it out”?

Not after a fight I will leave that to your dog. If its a working dog you should be able to control it, it doesn’t matter what “stock” its from its called “training”.

Ok, but as good as the mut is on home turf it just doesn’t respond the same in the field. It knows it has done wrong as it will return after it has played & roll over at my feet, should I just kick it?

Nope you should learn how to control it or keep it on a lead, its not difficult.

put him in the park & let him see another dog then he just runs at them & will jump at them yapping appearing to bite their face

    Really!

but really all he is doing is playing, always wagging his tail & never has his heckles up & certainly never actually bites anything

Like yeah I would know that as its my dog? So your dog attacks(sorry I meant comes to play with) my dog!

Other dog owners see this as aggression although it isn’t

    Suprising really!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get some owner training classes and keep your bloody dog on a lead.

Did you say anything to the dog owner, or did you figure it would be better to let them read about it on here?
