For receding hairlines that don’t cost more than a kidney?
    Any personal experiences/recommendations?

Seriously, a decent close crop and a change in attitude is the best cure for baldness 🙂

It’s just hair, let it go gracefully and think of all the money you can save for bike bits!

Apology for not answering the question 🙂

    Donald Trump is a multi-millionaire.

    This is his hair:

So I’m going to say “no”. 😀

Honestly, I resisted the “grade zero” solution for years longer than I should have…. As soon as I did it, I realised I should have just mtfu and saved myself all the worry.

    Just get it done

Long story short. Yes they work- for some people but not everyone and you have to continually use them for ever and ever and ever.

go on, send us the recipe 😉

Been thinking about asking this, that Alpecin shampoo seemed like a waste of time but was thiking of trying Regain. But also threatening to just get it all shaved, just need to spend a bit more time in the gym to get the Jason Statham look first.

    Get it buzzed.

If there was a solution do you think this man would have this hair cut?

Don’t bother. Older women seem to find hair more of a prerequisite – not so much twenty somethings. 😛

You’ll get plenty of attention for just looking a bit older, provided you are in decent shape.

Slowly change your look, bulk out, grow a big stuck on a desert island beard, shave your head and tattoo your arms 😆

    finasteride and minoxidil?

I reckon if you make a start with a hair loss treatment at the very first sign of recession, then you might have half a chance of delaying it for a while at least.

If you leave it until the process is well underway then why bother? Everyone knows you’re going bald anyway so just embrace it and become a sexy slaphead 🙂

    Snake Oil and Codswallop.

Well, they do work but finasteride gives you bitch tits and makes your balls shrivel up and minoxidil is fairly nasty as well.

Yep, some are licensed for the US and others Europe because of the side effects and active ingredients.

Poor Trump, he’s going through all the side effects but still not getting his hair back.

I get excited every time I find a grey hair as it means there’s still a chance I’ll keep my hair long enough to go grey.

The girlfriend bought me some hair regrowing shampoo/conditioner/elixir that only has eastern European languages on the label. Used one as it felt as though my head was on fire.

I’ll put off having to shave my head for as long as possible as I did it in my youth and was told ‘you look as though you mug old ladies,’ by my nan.

that Alpecin shampoo seemed like a waste of time but was thiking of trying Regain.

Using Alpecin does actually seem to reduce the amount of hair on my hands after washing my hair.

Regain did nothing except alleviate me of a couple of hundred pounds for the year I tried it (bald spot, not receding).

FWIW I use the L’Oreal Elvive “Thickening” Shampoo.

It doesn’t do anything to prevent baldness or receding hair, but it does seem to avoid the added ignominy of my thinning hair curling up till it resembles a teenager’s first wispy pube.

    I like my shaved head.

    Saves a fortune on shampoo.

Always look good when you wake up lol.

The only way to keep it is to extract hair follicles from somewhere else on your body and have that transplanted to the bald area.

A coworker would not stop mentioning when she talked to me and I said I love having a shaved head but it is better than being grossly obese, she never mentioned it again.

Try not to wear jeans, white t-shirt and Doc Martins as people will label you a new nazi or call the fashion police. Wearing a suit it looks great.

Shave it off. Don’t comb it over.

You a self confidence boost, not a hair transplant. If a new ‘cure’ became available which would reverse my baldness I wouldn’t be interested. I’m bald and have always been completely confident about my appearance. Sure it’s a pain in the arse to have to shave it every few days but I wouldn’t want hair again.

I can’t believe that people that insecure that they have to think this way.

If you do the sensible thing and shave it all off, and trust me you’ll look back on the day you did and wonder why you hadn’t already done it, you’ll find that a bald head works better with at least a small amount of facial hair.

The spot at the back of my head, and my hairline seems to be racing to meet each other. Much to my daughter’s amusement.

I’d go close-shave / No1. all over tomorrow but my wife insists that I hang on in there so I’m just having it cut shorter and shorter each time I go to the barber. She’ll twig at some point.

I’m kind of resigned to it TBH -not much I can do about it. If I was balding in my twenties then maybe I’d feel differently about it and keener to try various solutions, ‘thickening’ shampoos etc. One of the members of my team at work used to have this odd ‘hair-in-a-spray-can’ thing that he’d use to disguise his hair loss (late twenties). It was very, very odd (and very obvious when on) and showed a lack of self-awareness, oddly combined with high levels of vanity. I had no idea such a thing existed but there we go…

Indian fella at work used the hair-in-a-can stuff it did look like he’d rattle-canned the back of his head. Also used prescription Minoxdil for a while some downy hair grew but it wasn’t like real hair

I found the whole looking like a neo-nazi a blessing in disguise on a night out. Cockwombles generally give you a wide birth, although ethnic minorities do as well.

TBH I don’t think the leather jacketed, shaved head “Jesse Pinkman” look is a bad one.

Don’t do your eyebrows as well though. You will look like a startled potato.

Zero buzz cut for me every two weeks. If I leave it any longer it feels weird.

Mine get a number 1 every time I cut my hair, otherwise they get a bit Denis Healy 🙂

I do my head, my eyebrows, my nose hair & random bits of ear hair (that seem to spring up with alarming frequency now). Starting to think I should just take a razor to the lot and go full bald!

There are enough men around of all ages with no 1 that no-one even notices any more.

I get excited every time I find a grey hair as it means there’s still a chance I’ll keep my hair long enough to go grey.

I have no hair and a patchy blonde/white beard. Worst of both worlds.

My mate has a bald head….and when he is shagging his misses…she likes to slap his head

Now I don’t know if that’s before, during or after?? 😀

Of course it works! Jimmy White and Elton John are living proof!

I have issues with comments like these. How would you ever know that it slowed your hair recession down by a single follicle? You have no benchmark to measure.

Sure it’s a pain in the arse to have to shave it every few days but I wouldn’t want hair again.

Curious, why shave it every few days if not bothered what people think?
