Have bought a digital TV for an upstairs room but don’t really want to go to the hassle of chasing a cable between the cavity walls, installing an aerial socket, repainting afterwards, etc, etc.

So … can anyone recommend a decent digital TV aerial please. Ideally not to big, but I appreciate there may need to be a trade off about it’s size and having a decent reception. I do have an electrical socket already in place.

    Recommendations please ?

if you can find them anywhere.

Are either of those digital ton?

    Try Maxview, or Lloytron

We have one of these doing sterling service in an upstairs bedroom with a direct flat line of sight to the Croydon B transmitter of about 20 miles. Picks up the main MUX’s hanging from the bedroom window.

Reviews are largely dichotomous – if it works it’s great. Our last house had rubbish freview full stop and we used freesat instead. To be honest it’s a temporary measure until we move, then back to Freesat around the house.

Just bought the One for All shown above to replace another internal aerial that the kids wrecked. It has a powered amplifier, but is not working as well as the previous unpowered unit, and fails to pick up a lot of channels.
