Being on the receiving end of Stoner’s surprisingly vitriolic opinions, I can attest he actually does get that pissed off. I just put it down to STW being his own form of catharsis, so he can be a perfectly nice fellow in real life.

It’s his “oh so superior” manner which flips my button. Smug, condescending and dismissive. I wouldnt mind so much if he was just an argumentative bore like the rest of us.

We all have our faults – and STW is (IMO) at its worst on occasions like this. TJ might sometimes be self-righteous to the point that he is in danger of turning into Mary Whitehouse. He also does a job which you (freely) admit you could never do. Take things in the round.

Anyway, it’s just the fugging internet for fug’s sake! And it’s friday. Who is drinking what? I’m on Bath Ales Barnstormer and it’s going to be a goooood weekend. 😀

TJ is an opinionated shyte who I mainly disagree with. He is dogged, selective in what he hears and acknowledges, and helmets…well lets not go there.
However I am not sure I want a forum full of rightwing leaning english gits such as myself. We act as a wonderful check and balance to each other.

Just live and let live. If you don’t like someone’s persona, then either ignore them completely or just be polite. No need to be mean. Bit of banter’s ok, if you know someone can take it, but sometimes it gets a bit out of hand. I’m as guilty as anyone on this.

Whereas I think nothing more of you than some bloke off the internet what I’ve never met who’s a bit precious and uptight. I’m not going to judge you any further, because I’ve never met you. i’m not going to waste emotion on you, cos life’s too short. Thing is, we might one day meet, and actually get on well. Who knows?

I think it’s more productive and nutritious to consider any potential encounter to be positive, rather than negative. Life’s more enjoyable that way.
