Anyone changed the gear cable setup on their spectral? It’s two part with just the wire inside the frame, no cable outer.

Anyone swapped it to be fully outer cabled?

If you’re changing cable, pull a piece of string through with the old cable then usr the string to pull the new cable back through.

No need to put outer all the way through, and no faff threading the new inner through the frame.

Cheers. I meant has anyone swapped from having two outer sections and a middle with just the cable, to a fully outer gear cabled setup on the spectral.

There’s quite a bit of friction in my gear cable in the length through the chain stay so considering running that length external to avoid the sharp bends and may do full outer with triple cable clamps on the downtube although you could drill out the hole in the downtube and run the outer through it.

@nealy did you do it in the end?
