Makes sense you can look for a bike and buy an Isuzu pickup at the same time 🙂

Plummer continued: “We’re excited about the impact E-bikes can have on how we get around and on people’s behaviour – switching from a single mode of transport for most of their needs to multiple solutions which are appropriate to each journey.

“E-bikes will play a vital role in the future of mobility – a future where people make use of a connected combination of mobility solutions and can enjoy easier connections from one to the other. As part of our role in driving confidence in every journey, we’re looking forward to supporting the growth of this important sector.”

I do love the auto industry converts who seem to have forgotten most of these magical advantages have existed for about 130 odd years in the form of the bicycle, nobody’s reinvented transport, they’ve just bolted a leccy motor to something that will probably outlive the Car.

Is autotrader the obvious place you’re going to search for an E-bike? Maybe, Habitual car **** don’t have much imagination really (IMO/IME)…

I buy a buy car parts from Autodoc of Germany – massive range of parts from OEM to cheapo garbage. Eurocarparts etc can’t get anywhere near on price/range.

They had a questionnaire last time I ordered re – would I buy bike parts from them.

Good, it’ll help to normalise the bike as a form of transport I reckon.

Just went onto the autotrader app to view this and i think it will be a disaster!

Filter by electric and you get Bianchi, Bergamont and Brompton electric assist pedal bikes alongside BMW electric motor bikes.

I was at least ecpecting the electric assist bikes to have their own header, or at least correct filter! Just reinforces the view that electric assist bikes are the same as electric bikes with a throttle

And i dont even own or want an e-bike, but can see their environmental benefit

    Autotrader, remember?

The site that allows you to filter NI only or everywhere, bloody handy if you live in SW Scotland and don’t want every trader in Antrim to show up!
