Nah, you won’t die. It’ll probably be uncomfortable, but that’s sort of the point.

Whisky comes in very handy – I was out a couple of weeks ago, started with snow which was fine, but when it warmed up into rain it got a bit grim for a while as my bag doesn’t fully close over.

I can’t remember who said it, but it was said that the only difference between bivvying and sleeping rough was choice. Sounds about right…

Also interested in how you’re cooking the meat. I have a honeystove that would probably do a nice job of it with a bit of wood burning.

After a glorious, icy / snowy ride under the full moon last night, it’s howling & raining here again, so I’m quite satisfied with my roof / king size bed / thick duvet combo, but do still see the attraction of your night out. I think.

Just left them to it, fire is huge and roaring and it’s actually pretty warm out there tonight. Will see how they fair if the forecast rain comes in.

The most miserable part of the trip was the ride home!

Regardless, were safe and dry under the tarp 🙂

Na not with them tonight ,I done a ghetto bivvy night ,curry in dorking then pub and slept round a mates
But if I do die my bikes can be shared out nicely cause my worse fear is if I do die my wife will sell them all for how much I told her I paid for them
