Afternoon,
My beloved Jun Air compressor went pop at the weekend. I have very little electrical understanding so excuse the post if it’s an obvious solution!
The on/off switch has been playing up a bit recently (not staying on). This weekend it started working then popped the fuse board. Reset the fuses and then switched it on again (ignorance is bliss) and it popped it again this time with a spark from the switch.
Opened up the single phase starter unit (off the label) and the heater 19 SPH (heater overload fuse??) seems to have blown.
1, Is there a standard fuse I can replace it with. I’ve looked but not been able to find one that looks like it.
2, As the switch was faulty, can I just replace this box with a new one? Only seems to be one cable going in.
Thanks in advance!
Chris
