And I’ll kick off with the Viet Gwent – The inimitable Price, Windsor and Faulkner

They don’t write songs about ordinary players, you know!

    Over to you!

While we’re on rugby, one of the Lions greats. I only wish I’d seen him play.

I know flashy. A couple of mates did the sportive he helps to organise in Ireland last September. He’s great. Stops to have a chat with anyone who wants a word. Signs autographs. Poses for photos. Keeps smiling all day until everyone’s gone home. Top man.

Lord Coe. 1:41 for 800m and the only athlete to retain the Olympic 1500m title.

Sorry, Flashy, but I’ve got to call THREAD FAIL on your part. A ‘legend’ should surely be someone who’s a household name; a person whose sporting prowess has brought them to mainstream attention. A name even those with no idea about the particular sport have heard. A face that is instantly recognisable.

Never heard of those rugby players. I doubt anyone without any interest in Egg-Chasing has, either.

    These, however, need no explanation.

    Ya get me?

Maybe, but a true giant in sporting terms.

Effinchafing, if talking out of one’s dirty hairy arse was a sport, you’d actually have a chance of becoming a legend yourself.

Yeah. Decent runner, but just can’t get round him being such a knob.

Loddrik; who TF is that? And what sport is it, even? Certainly not something that’s internationally popular.

    PMSL @ Darcy!

On another note, Coe’s a nice chap, actually. Very, very ambitious and driven, but that’s a key part of being successful in sport, I suppose.

Apart from your dreadful and uncalled for faux bad spelling, netball is a ladies sport that is widely played throughout the Commonwealth and elsewhere. Basketball is merely an American sport. 😉

However, Jordan is something of a legend, I will agree! Even for a netball player.

Coe is an arse. But you are right about the being driven. FEw sports folk get to teh top without being bellends in one way or another.
