There’s nothing wrong with his output to the media, it’s the media that’s the problem. And you are buying into it/perpetuating it/supporting it.

The condemnation from his fellow Labour Party members was published broadly via Social Media. It’s really nothing to do with the traditional media.

So you are now claiming there is no contradiction

    I’ll just cut and paste:

Those are not contradictory views. His answer was appallingly bad as evidenced by a) The fact there are people justifying him who admit they aren’t clear on what he said b) the media storm he’s brought on himself when other politicians can answer similar questions without hicup. At the same time our press are a a crock of **** as evidenced by picking up a paper or switching on the news.

You cannot both criticise and praise his output and think this is not contradictory – well clearly you can but its unwise.

And bombing the crap out of the middle east has really worked out well for us over the past thirty-five years.

Jez throughout his political career has been able to say what he liked and mostly be ignored by the press. He’s finding this a hard habit to break, I’ve no doubt his statements about bringing terrorists to justice and criticising the police policy of shoot to kill he’s done many times. He hasn’t joined up the dots and realised that as leader of the Labour Party he cannot make those statements in the wake of a major terrorist incident where close to 500 people have been shot in the centre of one of the World’s greatest cities. As it stands its just too easy for journalists to catch him out and he’s setting himself up repeatedly for derision at the hands of his own party.

Jez would be well advised to listen to Hollande’s speech today to France’s Mayors. This is what a left wing political leader of a European country sounds like. If he wants to become PM he should take note.

Corbin really is the gift that keeps on giving, having appointed ken Livingstone as a senior advisor on defence who has now had to make an apology to a fellow Labour Party member who quite rightly asked what experience or expertise has on defensive matters
