Crankbrothers has updated its popular multi-tool line-up with convenient solutions for tubeless repair without having too much to carry.
The new M20 and M13 multi-tool include a tyre plug tool and a case to store plugs in, and come with a pack of 5 plugs.
The removable backpack has a curved lid that actually allows enough space for two Ibuprofen and an antihistamine, if you so desire. It seems quite considerate of Crankbrothers to allow you to carry sturdier tubeless repair bacon, or whatever else you consider to be essential and easy to lose.

Looks great. Just what I want…
Just wish they’d do it in Stainless Steel, so it doesn’t turn into a rank rusty mess in a saddle bag or backpack.
I’m tempted still.
I kind of wish my old Crank Bros M19 would die. it refuses to, a squirt with GT45 every know and then and its as good as new. Apart from being run over by half a dozen cars when it fell out of a jacket pocket.
The only Crank Bros product I can wholeheartedly recommend.
is this mountable on the bike somehow? like with a frame strap on top of an inner tube, say?
Looks great but currently only available from CrankBros themselves with a £9.99 delivery charge unless my googlefu is letting me down.
How do you guys remove a locked valve on a tubeless setup without pliers? Doesn’t seem to be a multitool that solves this…

I’ve had an M17 for donkeys years and it’s a great tool, The M20 looks ideal, mainly for the “Back pack” which seems like a proper way of storing all the stuff that’s ended up held on my multi-tool in a baggie with an elastic band. Just seems a shame it’s hard to find for sale from shops and appears to costs a bomb from the CB website…
I wish I’d seen that £40 multitool with a built in tubeless kit before spending £25 on tubeless kit with only two plugs in it
