Tribe of Yetis to descend upon Shropshire

by 3

We’ve no idea what the collective noun for a group of Yetis is – a snuggle of Yetis? A shoe? A yurt? * Anyway, if you’re an abominable snowman that likes to get around on a bicycle then you’ll be pleased to know that the Long Mynd in Shropshire has been selected as destination for 9th annual Yeti UK Tribe gathering.

They don't look abominable at all...

Yetifan.com is pleased to announce the details of the 2012 UK Yeti Tribe gathering which will once again see Yeti Cycle owners from around the country come together to celebrate everything Yeti.  After 8 very successful years visiting the forests and mountains of Wales the 9th annual gathering sees a switch in location to Long Mynd in Shropshire on the weekend of the 23rd/24th June 2012. The annual tribe meeting is a must attend event for UK Yeti owners as they come together to enjoy some of the country’s best natural trails, sink a cold beverages and talk Yeti for two days in June.

The 2012 event will be based from Rattlinghope (near to Church Stretton) and kicks off Saturday as the tribe gathers to take in the trails of Long Mynd before returning to enjoy an evening BBQ at the Bridges Pub.  As attendee’s sip a refreshing beverage and while away the hours they will also be able to enjoy an indoor Yeti museum before Sunday visit the tracks at nearby Eastridge.

On hand throughout the weekend will be Yeti Racing UK rider Scott Beaumont who will be able help with any skills adjustments or riding questions you may have while Plush Hill Cycles spin their spanners should your ride need some TLC.  As well as all of that UK Yeti distributor Silverfish will be in attendance with the 2012 range of bikes and frames for you to view.

Attendance is completely free and by registering now on www.yetifan.com you will also receive limited edition tribe goodies on the day.

Check out www.yetifan.com for full details of travel and accommodation.
