Umm, I think you’ll find that Converse shoes were designed to be worn by adult basketball players.
Would you walk up to a 6’7″ bloke on a street basketball court and tell him to stop wearing children’s shoes?
Personally I find them a bit hard on my feet and rather sweaty and clammy, although I have a pair of low-top 5:10 shoes in a similar style which are dead comfy.
Vans are my preferred footwear, preferably plain black, or with minimum decoration.
I’m 60, btw.
