Marketed as a 29er XC race wheelset, they stood out to us a s a perfect cross race wheelset that would be future proof against the possible changes in dropout standards over the next few years. Coming as standard with all fittings for QR or bolt thru (15mm F / 142×12 R), buying a light 29er wheelset is one of the few ways to get an aftermarket wheel for any of the bolt through cross frames on the market. At 1650grams per pair, they’re on the money weight wise and being tubeless ready from the gun, they should offer plenty to the forward thinking rider. Fully hand-built, the hub also stands out – A huge bearing sits outside an 84tooth engagement ring which promises 4.3 degree engagement. The carbon front hub shell adds a bit of bling.
