how do you get cat hair off a duvet cover?

It’s been through a wash cycle and there’s still quite a bit of cat hair still on it. (Cat’s been sleeping on a spare hi-bed for ages)

DUCT tape works to pick up the hair (from the bed, not the cat).

    Fabric conditioner and tumble dry.

Also Dyson do a very effective hair removal brush attachment:

This is the only thing which gets it all up. EDIT other than DUCT tape….

Use these for valeting, very effective.

(but duct tape is probably easier/cheaper for a one off use)

You get sticky pet hair remover rollers too, but yeah, if you have duct tape…

    Lint roller.

Depends on the type of cat hair. Our cat moults in clumps that a lint roller doesn’t pick up. Duck tape and hoover are our only methods.

Duct tape will also remove the hair from your arms very well as I discovered last week when a friendly producer wrapped it around mine and ripped it off.

Have you tried taking the cat out of the duvet before you wash it

Get some cheap brown parcel tape in a reel from Poundland. Unwind it sticky-side-out around your hand. Dab and wipe the hairs off until they stop sticking to the tape, then discard. Repeat lots until clear.

Easy. Rubber washing up glove. Then gather up the rolled piles. Simple and it works.

I want to see the look on Mrs GW’s face when he walks into the bedroom, snaps on one single Marigold and goes “guess what Love, I’ve had a fantastic idea!”

(followed with “no, it’s ok, I got it off the Internet”)

Almost right, except for the ‘discard’ bit. When the tape is hairy and no longer sticky, it can be used for some luxury stress relief.

You’ll have a tough time explaining the abundance of cat hair left behind afterwards.

Cougar, there is no Mrs GW.
the bed is a childs, no adult (other than cynic-Al) would sleep in a hi-bed.
