Today I am copying every patent published by Australia from 1920 through to the end of 2009 to our mainframe – 1,561,185 records.

    It’s taking a while. 😕

What are you doing ? ( or should that be meant to be doing ? )

Designing wedding album on laptop downstairs and processing raw files from last weekend’s weddings on the desktop upstairs.

The album is a nightmare as the bride has taken it upon herself to design the whole album for me on scraps of paper, with scant regard to the fact that the album is square, not rectangular 🙁

New clause in bloated contract coming up re album design…..

Doing a root cause analysis of a hydraulic issue on a sewage works to understand why we have an overflow at c450 l/s when it was designed for up to 900 l/s, and once I’m finished I need to work out how to fix the problem.
