How dull is your boring office job?

Boring right now, done the interesting parts of a project, now have the admin and documentation bits to do. hence why I’ve spent most of today on Internet cycling forums…

Mine wouldn’t be boring if I was interested in it.

I’m actually considering self-harming, its that bad.

Its been anything but dull of late though, which probably makes receiving the most tedious project devised by man even more mind-numbingly, spirit-crushingly, keyboard-headbuttingly BORING

I wonder how long it would take to saw through my own leg with a plastic ruler. Hmmmmmmm…….

I would be bored but I have found quake live so been on that most of the day/week, counting down the days till I leave 🙂

Off the scale right now I can’t work when it’s sunny.

(Some would say I don’t like work whatever the weather but that’s another story 🙂 )

My job is never boring in the way you lot describe, but I have lots of stuff to do and cant seem to knuckle down and get on with it.

Keep getting distracted by anything other than what I should be doing.

But that’s because my profession is, as Tom Hanks described, “like doing homework for a living”.

I have nothing to do. Not a thing. For the past 2-3 months I can do any little bit and bobs in the first 20 minutes of the day and then i spend the rest of my day staring at my screen trying not to draw attention to 2 things:
a) that i have **** all to do
b) that i have stw forum or an other forum online in a tiny wee window on the bottom left portion of my laptop screen.

Soooooo bored some days I could cry although our 6 week old baby provides a welcome distraction at night.

And today’s also my birthday so my disposition is a little brighter today 🙂

I’m so bored I simply can’t make my brain focus on this crap. And on top of that I’ve found out I’m leaving in two weeks and never coming back, and there’s no-one else to work on the project so it’ll probably get mothballed.

Motivation..?

I sit in a lab studying blood and some research.

My job is boring but it is kind of nice when we get an emergency and I get consulted by Doctors for help. Not nice for the patient though.

I’m looking at my project, it’s almost done, I can’t be bothered anymore and hence on stw lol

Working from home doing sales. Wife n little ones gone on a charity cycle ride till Monday 🙁 Been quiet this month and I should be hiting the phones but just can’t get motivated this week – I keep telling my self sell and you can buy new shiny bits but this week it’s not working

in fact have been so bored of late that I’ve got bored with being on here to relieve the boredom …
