The first Bentley Speed Six in 90 years has just been finished, and it’s beautiful!

    Be still, my beating heart!

Each to their own, but that wouldn’t even make it onto my list of things to buy if I won the lottery.

As a P G Wodehouse fan, especially Bertie Wooster and his idle rich ways, i’d be all over this if i had the spare cash!

    A beautiful car.

I can appreciate the craftsmanship – but as cars they do nothing for me.

Anyway it’s £103m on Euromillions tonight – I’m sure one of the existing customers will take a suitable offer should you win! 🙂

Lovely machine, but wouldn’t want to own one.

£103 million tonight? Will that buy me a self sufficient island and a big gun, after this last week?

The original ones, yes please, but don’t see any point in replicas whoever makes them. Doesn’t do anything for me,  but neither do the pointy blob shaped current supercars.

Timely reminder if you can go the classic car show is on in Birmingham this weekend.

I’m not in to the car as such, but I really like the idea of re-making something classic just for the hell of it.  Apparently the engine is the same as it was but I’m guessing it’s made out of modern materials with modern tolerances.  Fascinating idea as many old-looking modern cars have engines like a Ford 2.0 Zetec or whatever.

If I’m spending 1.5mil, I’m gonna need more than 205bhp.

i know that’s not the point, and it’s never gonna be an either/or situation for a buyer, but still.

If I had a great deal more money than I have, I would buy a Pursang 8C 2300 Monza rather than a Bentley. If only for the incredible noise.

That beating heart is cos of the shonky drum brakes and hedge first handling on those skinny cross ply tyres. But your sheepskin flying helmet and goggles should keep the flies and grit out of your eyes and hair
