Cheapest I can find a genuine Sandisk 32 is 75 squid so that sounds not too bad. Why do you need one that big?

We took a slightly lazier attitude with our HD camcorder and just buy 8GB cards when the old ones are full. With the ability to delete clips we find one card lasts for ages anyway, and they're only £10 to replace.

Old cards are copied to our computer then put in a fireproof safe for safekeeping.

How much recording time do you get on 8gb? I was under the impression it would be 40 odd minutes which was why I was looking for a bigger card.

Tempted to get a couple of 16gb ones instead

I tend to use my memory – they're reliable and always seem pretty competitive on price

Depends whether you use ultra-high quality or not. We budget about an hour per card, but this is using AVCHD. If you're on a weaker compression, it will last a shorter time.

I only got an 8GB SanDisk Extreme (Class 10: 30MB/s) SDHC for my little Sanyo Xacti.
    Cost about £45.

    Shooting 720 HD in MPEG-4 (H.264) I get around 1hr 50m shooting time.

Personally I wouldn't use an SD card that looked like that:

32GB is a lot of information to lose when it decides to get corrupted, which generic cards are way more likely to do.
Stick with branded cards, preferably SanDisk.

Plus it doesn't mention a speed class, so it is unlikely to be fast enough for HD video anyway which will need Class 6 at least.
