Just been trying to fix my shabby old bike computer – got it all functioning and am trying to programme the wheel circumference in.

    Does 2340mm sound right for a 29er wheel with 2.25″ Ralph’s on?

    well…

the rim bead is 622mm dia, 2.25″ ralph is 54mm wide/tall + say 8mm for nobs

    so 622+54+54+8 = 738mm diameter x 3.142 = 2318.796mm so your 2340mm not far out…

you could of course sit on the bike and measure the actual distance per wheel turn on the floor…

Could do. But there’s beer in the fridge:)

    Thanks for confirming though.
