I’m amazed you worry – I couldn’t give a monkey’s pizzle how many bikes anyone else has/had.
The wife is resigned to the fact I get bored easily. I justify it by considering that I’m well into my 40’s & been riding bikes since I was about 3 years old, I’ve never smoked, I drink very little, I drive a 17 year old car (and only cover about 2k miles per year), I’ve never been out of work since my 1st step on the career ladder, and finally, I can’t resist a bargain.

Indeed! Not even going to begin to try to justify myself, suffice to say I don’t regret a single purchase . . . it’s all learning, eh? Oh, and contrary to popular belief, I do only have three bikes.

Nope, I have changed bikes as my riding has improved and evolved. It also took a while to figure out the geometry I like.
