The good old days, when you didn't need an account to post- just post as anon. Not sure how that'd go down now, mind.
It was worse than that, though, wasn't it? You could post under any old name, even if someone else was using it too, couldn't you? It could be pretty anarchic, especially if Dan or Beer were on a thread, but if I'm remembering that right then I'm surprised it wasn't worse than it was.
I think I first arrived in 2002, after Googling for information on Hope Minis. I think I lurked for a long while before posting. I've always used ChrisL as my name.
