Looks like a ‘normal’ one to me, I say that coz it looks like the Dirty Jo my lad has.

Looks like it might have three cable stops on the top tube, instead of two and a hydro guide even if it does have disc mounts.

    three cable stops

Yep noticed that. At £99 I’m prepared to drill one out.

I’d assume a normal headset, as it doesn’t say it needs anything else.

Why is three cable stops an issue?

No major issue, just most modern frames have two sets of cable guides for the front and rear mechs and a hydraulic hose guide for the rear disc brake.
This looks like it has the third cable guide for V brakes.
Which probably means it’s a modified old frame.

cable stops not an issue, I’ll just drill out to fit the brake cable. Easy peasy.
The frame should be in stock tomorrow, so I’ll see if I can get CRC to fit a headset before shipping. 16″ (deliberately small) airforce grey. I’ll get my old TORA fork serviced, move the rest of the kit over from my battered old Mongoose frame and it’ll be like a whole new bike.

You can buy hydro guides that screw into the cable guides, if you want!

” Dirty Jo brand, ‘semi creme’ name”

One of the CRC reviewers agrees it’s a Dirty Joe

Good little frame. I’m tempted to get one to run with V’s, rigid forks and a double chainset for cross.
If you have’nt bought it yet, it might be worth looking at the Dirty Jo bikes site as they do a tripple butted version which I think is only a little dearer if at all.

just looked, £99 for triple butting.
It also says they build them – in Cornwall?

    Cornwall?
Must be a British Rail PR guy there, ‘freshly made sandwiches’. Yes freshly made but with stale ingredients.
I’m so tempted, off to price up bits.
