Sorry but you’re far too STW. Your days of keeping up with the kids are over.

The second bit is patently true.

I was going to argue the first point, but realised that in the last couple of years I ride much less than I used to, sit around for days doing **** all and post more threads about buying yet more kit than I do about actually getting out there and riding…

So yes, you’re right on both points.

QQ: you’re not Glesga based are you?  Might be heading past on an imminent shopping trip and was hoping to find some extras to do Ben Lomond….

I’m in Sheffield sorry. If you’re passing and would like a bounce on an Edit MX or Druid V2 you’re welcome.

I’ve been there since I bought a house, had a kid, turned into a hermit during a global pandemic and suffered a wicked neck injury. I’m on the way out of a huge slump and I’m really enjoying it and the fitness is coming back which makes it less painful and even more enjoyable.

Now I just want I ride. I’m done sweating over degrees and millimetres and always having the perfect tyres and shit. Bikes are good and I need to spend more time on them.
