Shame for us as spectators too, as McConnell was the only one near Terpstra. A real shame for Rebecca, especially as some of the big names weren’t riding.

Flückiger won’t be starting the XCO World Cup at Vallnord today due to a cold that he caught. He started feeling rough yesterday and hasn’t been feeling well since. This has gotta shake up the overall standings, especially if Hatherly does well today!

The penultimate lap is bringing in allllll the drama with Schurter closing in the gap to the front, currently only four seconds from the leader.

Braidot’s performance right now is very impressive, seeing as he kept getting dropped and he kept coming back and keeping up with the front. He’s right behind Dascalu, who’s leading the race in this penultimate lap.

Great win by Braidot and an amazing finish by Nino considering his start. Feel sorry for Dascalu.
