The only thing Trump respects is a bigger bully than him.

Trump was wise to their tactics this time around- hence why they had to try and assassinate him.

    Sure thing buddy…

The Dems deposed a sitting president, installed their next puppet without any democratic processes and then wheeled her out to say “Trump is a threat to Democracy” all with a straight face.

They are corrupt liars through and through.

All of which ends up watering down anything Trump *did* do wrong- they went too far.
Now, there is no Fact Checker or Trusted Global News initiative that’s going to convince me (or clearly the average American) that ANYTHING they say is true ever again.

Which is fine. You do you. Meanwhile in the rest of the globe a generation of time will need to go by before we don’t hear an american accent and think “there goes a fetid turd with unpleasant principles, best avoid”.

So basically we can just disregard you from here on then.

thats nonsense though, he wasnt deposed as president, he still is president, they just replaced him as candidate to be the next president.

Other than Trump being a threat to demorcracy (theres actual recording of him trying to force the Raffensberger0 Georgis secretary of state, to find 10000 votes because he refused to accept defeat) He has spread countless lies about the last election being fraudulent

he then incited a mob to attack the Capitol building

Hes also threatened to have shot and or imprisoned his political opponents

the question is why are you lying crosshair, is it because you are trying to justify supporting an adjudicated rapist who was best friends with epstein?

Harris has never been President. Biden is still POTUS for the rest of ‘24.

And yet the Dems fought the nastier fight.
The facade is over. The left’s inherent bitterness and insecurity shon so bright it was impossible to miss.

As I alluded to earlier- I actually don’t think the average American or Brit has moved anywhere (politically) but our Globalist-run rigged media and political class have gone so far hard-left that the people have had enough.
Populism was what democracy was called until the left rigged the system….

Which USA media outlet is “hard-left”? Which politician with any grasp on power in the USA is “hard-left”?

I think you need to go and check who the current president is. Once back you can see that Harris was put on the bill to be the next president and the people given the choice to vote for her or not – seems pretty democratic

He’s a sportsman who loves the game but respects the rules. Whereas the left just want to win at all costs

This is total and complete bollocks of the highest order.  The left in the US are not particularly scrupulous but Trump is playing a different game to the left.  Trump is playing a game where you manipulate as many people as possible by saying anything at all without basis in fact, so that you can gain as much power as possible and line your own pockets. That’s all he does.  The left are at least trying to run a country and do what needs doing.  Trump doesn’t care about anyone other than himself – not the public, not Ukraine, not those in need – no-one.

Yeah you’re all right. When I see Biden drooling on the beach, I remember he is *obviously* still ruler of the free world.
    My bad.

Can someone, anyone, please explain, in layman’s terms, who exactly the ‘left’ are, as alluded to in the post above? I’m confuzzled

As Musk said in his Rogan interview- the media has gone 70/30 left to at most 95/5. And left in 2024 would have been Extreme Far Left in 2000…

Which makes Trumps victory all the more impressive. They couldn’t lock him up, couldn’t kill him and then couldn’t brainwash enough people against him to win.

    He’s a very impressive guy.

Which USA media outlet has gone “Extreme Far Left”… point one out, and explain what is “far-left” about them to help us understand.

I do actually think right/left is dead as a concept. Hence the coalition between Trump Tulsi, Musk and RFK etc.

It’s more to do with those who want to be free and those who want to be DEI re-programmed globalist pawns.

Why is someone who supports Trump an obvious troll? Approximately half of US voters do, are they all trolls?

I don’t know but I have heard it said that the way what some call “the palace coup” was carried out didn’t go down well with much of the American public.

Many saw it as an Democrat establishment stitch up in a similar way to how Hillary Clinton was chosen as a candidate.

He’s a troll because he says something

    Has it disproved

So he can ignores it and then just says something else that’s not true….

To be fair- I have only popped back to see what the ‘other side’ is thinking about things. But I don’t think it’s trolling. More trying to help provide balance and keep a few of you from disappearing up your own Jacksies.

I’ve been guilty as anyone of retreating into my own echo chamber and consuming stuff favourable to my desired outcome during the build up tot today so coming here felt like a bit of a reality check.

But…. turns out I was right all along lol

“No, this is people saying: We matter. Our voices matter. Our communities matter. Our families matter. We are not deplorables, we are not idiots, we are not rednecks. We are citizens and we matter. The only question now is whether the complacent establishment will double down on its mockery of working people and damn them for falling for demagogic trickery all over again, or listen to them for a change. I hope it’s the latter. But something tells me it won’t be.”

So s/he’s a troll because they refuse to accept a counterargument?

Tbh the Democrat establishment stitch-up claim is a fairly valid point imo, it is the second time this morning that I have heard it offered as an explanation for Harris alienating some voters.

It is nice to see comments from a completely different perspective instead of relying solely on the echo chamber narrative. Maybe we might learn something?

What exactly does “listening to them” entail?

Trump really is impressive. His stamina attending rallies podcasts and interviews has been incredible. No days off for him. He did four yesterday alone.

Rogan remarked that he wandered in, did the whole 3hrs and wandered off again without so much as a pee break!

I hope I’m anywhere near as fit and cognisant as him at that age.

A reminder that the US Democratic Party sits about where the Tories are in the UK. They are not left by any stretch of the imagination.

I think listening means understanding their world view. Not forcing people on to DEI courses to be re-educated into compliance.

The liberal elite don’t want diversity at all- it’s a smokescreen to enforce conformity of opinion. (Hence the disgusting remarks about Kemi Badenoch).

Against that background I can understand why people turned out to vote for Donald Trump. I don’t think it helps to label all the people who did as stupid racists either.

Absolutely. The only people to blame for Trump’s election are the Democrats and their arrogant born-to-rule entitlement. They thought all they had to do was shout “racist” and “misogynist” and everyone who isn’t a white man would fall in line and vote for them, and if they didn’t, the Democrats spent all their time lecturing them about how it was their duty to elect Harris. In a lifetime of watching politics I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cluster**** on the scale of what the Democrats have just inflicted on the world. It’s about time they and other liberal centrist parties around the western world learned this lesson or in a few years time the west won’t look a lot different to Russia or China.

Why is someone who supports Trump an obvious troll? Approximately half of US voters do, are they all trolls?

They’re not trolls, just inferior, less intelligent and more bigoted than all the sensible grownups on this thread.

That’s all he does.  The left are at least trying to run a country and do what needs doing.

The democrats are not “left” they are just not as extreme right as the GOP, same as labour in the UK now.

The GOP/democrat double act has been perfect for the oligarchs to enrich themselves, Trump tax cut followed by Bidens corporate stimulus has meant the stimulus flowed to the few not the many, leaving the average wage earning voters with a choice of no hope or false hope.

And we are seeing the same in Europe, Austerity in Germany means the pretend left will be wiped out at the next election. Macron has probably handed the next election to the far right, when in their last election ignoring the will of the voters and installing a right wing Government when the left had the largest voting share.

The centrists have decided that attacking the left and progressives is more important to them than actually dealing with the very real problems of the far right and the oligarchy, a behaviour that is very evident and cheered on this forum.

That’s not saying a lot is it! As I said already, Lee Anderson is a great illustration of how far left everything has shifted. Even the tories weren’t right wing enough to support his labour 2000 era world view….

Yes it’s entirely the Dems’ fault that the voters preferred a senile rapist demagogue over a well-qualified…..black woman.

Of course they did start out trying with their own senile old man but he was insufficiently hateful. Hopefully they’ll have a better bunch to choose from next time.

Hang on – why isn’t Trump questioning the outcome of this election?

There was a Trump acolyte on BBC news earlier and the line she trotted out was “Too big to rig”

Yeah, that post. Not entirely sure if you are a troll and I’m not worried either way in honestly but you and I are definitely poles apart on how we see the world, politically and morally.

You’ll never change a single opinion on here, nor us, yours.

Based upon that, I’ll simply skim over your posts but will not reply to them after this singular time.

Nothing personal, just being practical based upon your world view and mine.
