I’m a wee bit surprised tbh, after the locals and mayorals the only time they ever looked at all happy was when they were seeing low turnout, so I figured they’d go for winter and hope that the misery factor would be offset by that.

And the French police will be tied up with the Olympics prep and other partners with the Euros

i assume the address does not need to be correct as you can use a passport and various other ID that doesn’t have an address.  BUT since the whole ID implementation is a shit show – if you had any worries, when you register at the new addresses your local electoral registration officer for the election specific ID.

My daughter’s 18 on 5th July. She’s gutted.
