15 years old now – was banned by the UCI in 2000, hence why you don’t see bikes like that around any more. The white one I pictured above was due to be used by Graeme Obree at the ’96 Olympics, though AFAIK he never actually used it in competition (he was ill and reverted to his old faithful as he was more comfortable on that).
Mine’s not that light – my road bike is lighter – though light for a TT bike – the frame is <3lbs IIRC, and ~18lbs in total. 650c wheels, 76 degree seat angle, ’97 9 speed DA (I believe I had the first set of 9 speed downtube shifters in the country – had to import them from the US – mounted on the Sytace tri-bars). Dia-compe 200sl brakes, which were the lightest you could get at the time. Custom computer sensor inside the rear triangle, with transmission to the handlebars via the frame and rear brake cable. No expense spared!
I suspect it’s rarer than all your Indy, Moots etc. – mine is number 28.
