Best thread title of the day contender? Could be!
Anyway, have got myself a Conti Rubber Queen to go on the front of the Enduro. The stock tyre was utter rubbish, to be honest. Rubber Queen looks very good, and seems pretty tough too (Shredded sidewall on the rear recently). The only thing is, it’s BIG! Big knobs, obviously, which means that it’s sitting pretty close to the fork brace. Now, as it’s an E150 fork, I’m pretty OK about that, as it’s got holes in the top for all the dirt to squeeze out through. As this is mainly a trail centre bike, I’m not too fussed.
The real problem is the little hairy bits, which are currently fwapping away against the brace. How long d’you reckon they’ll take to wear down? Or, do I need to give my Rubber Queen a Hollywood?
