Does anyone known the weights for these 10spd cassettes?

http://weightweenies.starbike.com/listings/components.php?type=cassettes might be worth a look? Do you know what ratios you’re looking for?

    Does 11-27 exist?

    [edit, it doesn’t]

Either way 105 is usually about 20g more than ultegra at about 220-250g and tiagra cassettes are 270-330g.

    My ultegra 12-25 was 247.

Yes, the usual “myth” (or it may be true, I’ve never checked) is that the only difference in weight between 105 and Ultegra is due to the alloy lockring on the Ultegra. Regardless, there’s minimal weight difference between Ultegra and 105 – both on alloy spiders for the bigger sprockets.

Tiagra is a significant chunk heavier and I wouldn’t let it near an alloy freehub ever.

12-28T Tiagra 10s (4600) with spacers and lockring 307g according to my kitchen scales (I just happen to have one waiting to be fitted)

Ultegra 11-28, 237g on my scales.

Have both ultegra and 105 and only differences I can see are the cosmetic finish to the rings and the alloy lock ring on ultegra.

Can’t remember exactly but think it was less than 20g difference.

Tiagra feels like a brick by comparison, and eats alloy free hubs.
