As title, I'll be in Tromso for a couple of days next week - any suggestions (apart from wrap up warm)?

Polar museum. Hire a car and drive out onto Kavolya island. Marvel at the underground ringroad. Go to the big pub near the brewery. Not sure if there are guided visits of the brewery. Spent a few nights there whilst on a ski trip in March ish/ Aprilish time. Won't it be getting dark now?

Take loads of money for the drinks!

i went there earlier this year in Febraruy.

Get a northern lights app on your phone. if it's looking strong the cooach trips out to goa nd see them are expensive for what they are but worth it to get out of the 'city' and get super clear view

Burger bar/ music memoriablia place is good value for food.

brewery / polar bar could have been good, but we only got there in time for one.

Tourist information there is good for booking anything/ seeing options around.
There happened to be the local northern travelling reindeer farmers festival going on that week too which was very cool but unlikley to be on again.

Take a walk over the very cold bridge to see the super modern church.

The boat ride was nice, but you did just effecveliy tour the island and not a lot more,

The cable car to the top of the mountain was good. Nice bar at the top and it was open til 1am last summer. This was 12:30am:

And for nearby islands Hillesoya was really nice when I passed on a cycle tour - quiet with white beaches and stunning blue water. The drive there would be nice too.

Thanks for this.
Don't have the time to arrange a second mortgage, so won't be drinking much (been to Norway before)
