problem is how did your lass make your tea,and wash pots up ❓

I see nothing wrong with this, especially as you’ve used the kitchen.

My other half still hasn’t found the dirty grease mark on the sitting room carpet where I dropped a pedal while doing a similar piece of work.

Generally I use the kitchen but wanted to watch the footie while I did it 😀

ah, I see the problem. She can’t get to the sink to wash up any more. You should have left her a small corridor to get through

I feel for you mate, all i did was come in piss wet through from my commute last night and put things on news paper to dry and my gf went off her head the news paper print will apparently come off on the carpet, news to me 🙄

To be fair if i did that I think I’d give her a heart attack (runs off to check life insurance policy) 😀

Aye no beers and worse…………bottled water in the wine rack.

Also – what is this “season” of which you speak?

Nothing wrong with that, I don’t see how you’ve managed to make such a mess though, terrible work ethic there!

I always do this, but your kitchen looks a lot newer than mine. Our next house WILL have a workshop/garage though.

I once dropped a crank arm with the pedal still attached on the laminate floor in the sitting room there was a perfect imprint of the pins. She never did notice. Now the sitting room has carpet and we have a conservatory and as long as I clean up she doesn’t mind me using it.

Not only does she look severely unimpressed, I have to say she looks a little bit masculine for my liking. Don’t mean to be rude or anything…

You should have deflected her comments by asking what was for dinner and when she would have it on the table ready for you.

I’m dismayed at the sparkling water in the wine rack. Disgraceful!

Phh. You don’t need a workshop, you just need to grow some and tell her its just as much your kitchen as it is hers, and you’ll do what you like in there..!

Did my first bike build in the kitchen. Well, it was a second floor flat, and everywhere else had a new cream coloured carpet. Subsequent to that I’ve had a cellar and now a garage.

I’m about to embark on teaching myself to build wheels. Which is obviously best done in front of the TV. Wish me luck..!

Firstly…is there an ‘end of season’??

Secondly, I think you’ve done a great job of protecting everything…so she should be grateful and go fetch you beers if anything. 😉

This is what my kitchen looked like last weekend after a muddy ride, the g/f’s only complaint was that I was only cleaning my bike and not hers too!! 😆

    I’ve just been busted.

Girlfriend has been away for 2 days and just phoned her at home…

“You’ve been tinkering with your bike in the conservatory haven’t you”

It was all clean and tidy but there was a Nukeproof shaped ‘hole’ that had been cleared and i’d not put her bike back against the wall.

    Schoolboy error 😀

Strip down like that with no blood. You must be some kind of bike maintenance god.

First thing I would have probably said to the wife, if she came home at that point, would be “this might require stiches”, while bleeding profusely into the sink from a knuckle wound.
