To all that commented on the scalpel cracked frame.
This bike was my pride it was very well looked after and polishied after every ride. On cleaning this bike i have never noticed these marks and yes you all think i proberly did but i dident. Remember this bike was on sale on ebay aswell i would of took paypal payment considering that if i knew it was cracked why sell on ebay if i knew i would have to refund or go down that road.
My guess its happened in transit, the bike was insured for £2k which iam happy to help the buyer try and get some compensation i never once told him its his problem deal with it.
And to be honest this frame is made not from any carbon but weapon grade carbon, super strong do my guess get it looked at by a bike shop as this just could be a crack in the paint.

sent by phone excuse any errors in typing

    BallisTec Carbon

The Scalpel frame weighs just 1590 grams with shock! Made primarily from ballistic armoring fibers and high-impact resins, our BallisTec carbon construction ensures that its feathery weight doesn’t come at the expense of strength or stiffness. Race with confidence.

    so it says…

If it was damaged in transit, you should refund and you claim for damages.

I’m quite open minded on this one but i can’t for the life of me soo how that particular part and BOTH of them would have been damaged in transit, due to where they’re located.

After the last thread, I would suggest all walking away now. This should be sorted between the Seller and the buyer using a telephone not on here.

    1. damage in transit – you are having a laugh.

    2. even if that was the case, it’s your loss and for you to sort out.

    3. You know fine well you missed some damage and mis-described it, do the decent thing and refund.

The only way thus thread would go well, if it was saying his you and the buyer had got this sorted. This just makes you look shonky.

You clearly use this forum almost entirely for the classifieds, i would suggest it is in your interest to do the decent thing and refund the guy his money and then sort out your bike.

    Note to Mods

It’s Friday morning, let’s not start the weekend with a public bitch fest, sort it out between the two of you, you both obviously have phones , use them and prove to all of us on here that there is still some honourable people out there

Have a good weekend all and happy riding 🙂

You’ve have the insurance – not him – you need to claim on it and refund him in the meantime
Your side of the contract is to deliver the goods to him in a condition that reflects the deal done, his part of the contract is to get the money to you.
If the money had failed to turn up or was short, would you expect to have to take the hit and hope the other side of the deal would sort it for you?

    Do the right thing now
