    Seriously – people actually think a big engine sounds better than anything else?
    Do you buy albums of engine noises and sit there with headphones on listening to them? “Brrmm” “brrrrM” and “BRRRMMM”. What pleasure. :lol:

    i remember a techno album from the early nineties where all the sounds were samples from a formula 1 event. it was brilliant, but i can’t remember what it was called.

    The clinking of climbing gear echoing against the crag face

    The wierd silence when riding on road with a tail wind which matches your speed

    The sound from the tyres you get when you pre-compress the front end just before doing a bunny hop

    The sound of my children sleeping or laughing

    The distant sound of waves and bird song on the Dorset coast

    Rossi – round the back of Tesco’s in Kingsteignton.. I kid you not..

    It’s a Newton Abbot Fishing Association water.. lovely old mature pit complex..

    I used to fish it for carp and I would be cursing the fat Tench in the bottom lake after 5 or more 9lbers over the course of a weekend..

    i had to add a couple more (although the tasmanian devils roaring are pretty hard to beat :D
    the new rush album is fantastic (clockwork angels) :D
    am also going to be getting a lovely new vintage lemon drop guitar in the next 12 days.it sounded incredible when i tried it out on thursday (have wanted to try one for over 5 years :D the out of phase middle position sounds like playing through a wah pedal (half cocked :wink: oh and the bridge humbucker sounds like a truck :D i cannot wait to start playing it :D one more for emphasis :D
