STW!

I wonder if anyone can remember that website where its possible to view/download memory map routes that people have created?

I recently moved and am after a quick, road (don’t shout!) route to take the SS out on. approx 20 miles near worksop/oldcoates/shireoaks sort of way? (if anyone lives near this frightful place)

Thanks in advance,

Jonathan 😉

Not sure if this is any use to you:

MotionBased

You can download routes in various formats for subsequent upload to a GPS. Lots of cool features, but I’m not sure if it handles Memory Map-friendly formats. If you do a search for “worksop” you’ll find loads of stuff which can be viewed on Google Maps.

Let me know if you can get MM formats or if you can convert the files easily (I’m pretty sure it’s all based around Garmin file formats and I’m not very clued up on the compatibility issues)

Cheers,

You could try Bikely and MapMyRide.
Both have a reasonable variety of routes. They have the option to download the track in GPX format, which you should be able to open in Memory Map.
