Suitable tool box?

My eldest son has just started an apprenticeship at a bike shop and decided he wants to start building up his on selection of tools so I’m looking for a suitable toolbox I could get him for xmas to put stuff in.

Ideally want something semi moveable as we haven’t got room for a decent chest setup in the garage yet but feel a basic plastic box will just be a pain once he has a bit of kit and has to dig through.

Current thoughts are this from Halfords, just wondered if anyone had any better suggestions?

Screwfix often have the dewalt stacking toolbox sets half price (possibly after Christmas). You can shadow foam them for the full pro look, and they are very waterproof.

See also Bosch/Sortimo Lboxx. The 102 is a good depth and they stack, get some shadow foam in there and you’re sorted. They do blanks for all the common stackers.

Don’t be tempted by the deep and cheap Stanley roller units, the top box is okay but it’s a pain for trying to find tools as it’s so deep and doesn’t connect onto the bottom well. For amateur use it’s fine but would get old quick if you’re lugging it about as a daily.

I’ve got a bunch of tool boxes I need rid of if you’re anywhere near Sheffield. Biggest one is a Stanley Fatmax on wheels with a handle like a carry on suitcase.

That’s the better version of mine, TBF it’s not the worst in the world and a steal at free.99.

Certainly more sensible than a Plano gun case that everyone on toolboxwars seems to love.

Ive had the 3 drawer plus top storage Halfords box for 10+ years now, still going strong. The metal isnt exactly thick, two places its bent out of shape now, but, for £39, I cant complain, all drawers are still smooth.
